::Internal Quality Assurance Cell::

To ensure structured, continuous, and measurable quality improvement in all academic and administrative activities, an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is formed. It is mainly established as a quality-sustaining mechanism recommended by accreditation bodies like the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

Aim of IQAC:

  • To ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • To develop and apply quality benchmarks for teaching–learning, research, and support services.
  • To promote a learner-centric environment and innovative teaching practices.
  • To facilitate systematic documentation and data collection for quality assessment and accreditation.
  • To encourage a culture of quality, accountability, and best practices among faculty and staff.

STRATEGIES OF IQAC::

  • Develop and implement quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
  • Promote innovative and learner-centric teaching–learning methods.
  • Ensure timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, research, and extension programs.
  • Collect, analyze, and use feedback from students, teachers, alumni, and employers for improvement.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs for quality enhancement.
  • Strengthen documentation, data management, and preparation of quality reports (AQAR, SSR, etc.).
  • Encourage best practices, institutional values, and a culture of continuous quality improvement.

FUNCTIONS OF IQAC:

  • Develop and apply quality benchmarks and parameters for academic and administrative activities.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in teaching–learning, research, and support services.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders and use it for quality enhancement.
  • Prepare and submit quality assurance reports such as AQAR/SSR and support accreditation processes.
  • Promote documentation, best practices, and a culture of quality consciousness in the institution.
