Departmental Activities undertaken:

• The Department Launched A Year long programme to celebrate “International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (IYPT) 2019” in the month of June, 2019
• Organized “ 2nd Acarya Prafulla Chandra Roy Memorial Annual Lecture on Solid State Chemistrty” at Auditorial Hall, Science College, Kokrajhar on 15/05/2019. The Resource Person invited this year is Dr. Ranjit Thakuria, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Gauhati University, Assam
• Organized “ 1st Acarya Prafulla Chandra Roy Memorial Annual Lecture on Research Project- At a Glance” at Auditorial Hall, Science College, Kokrajhar on 09-09-2017. The Resource Person invited this year is Dr. Sushmita Sen Gupta, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, B.N. College, Dhubri, Assam
• Organized a Workshop on “Green Chemistry Approaches And Laboratory Safety & Health on 04/02/2017 at Gallery-I, Science College, Kokrajhar
• Organized Departmental Seminar for the faculty members as well as for the students regularly.
• The Department organized Crash Course Programme for JAM and M.Sc. Entrance examinations for the students of Sem-V of the department every Year.
• Organized a Workshop on” Green Chemistry Approaches and Laboratory Safety & Health” at Gallery-1, Science College, kokrajhar on 04-02-2017
• Organized a “Visit to Sophisticated Analytical Instrumental Facility at North East Hill university, Shillong” on 22-07-2016.
• Organized “Intra departmental Extempore speech competition” at the Department of Chemistryon 28-02-2015.
• The Department of Chemistry organize a UGC Sponsored National Seminar on “Health Hazards Due to Pesticides” on 14-03-2014
